PBVBrat Designs - Cards

Posted by Picasa
These are a few of my card designs. All unique. All different. I sell them for $5 each. They are 5 x 7 in size. I also make some that are smaller in size which are 3.5 x 5. Those I have sold for $3.50 each. It is a pass time of mine. If you want a closer look, just click on the photo.
This is a craft I take with me everywhere I go. If I am sitting at the airport waiting, none if the items are restricted. I take it to the doctor's office and so on. If you keep your mind and soul busy, you will thrive in life. I do not want my family gift of Alzheimer and Damentia to come to me too soon or at all. AMEN!!!

Saturday before Christmas

Today we first went to the cementary to visit Uncle Mike and seen what a nice job his family did in decorating his resting place. Then later we went to Johnny's Pastrami in Culver City and celebrated Mama Hass' 2 years of living with us. She really enjoyed her meal. After that Hans & I went to Torrance where they have their yearly neighborhood decorations to view. It's a big event. Instead of trying to drive the car through it we decided to walk. We even had our photo taken with Santa. What a great way to spend the day.

Virginia Beach 8/16/07

We were in Virginia Beach this past August. Yes us in swimsuits. Can you believe it? No matter how healthy a diet, if your DNA says you are going to take on a certain shape, you've got to accept it.

The Funeral - New Orleans & Mississippi

We flew into New Orleans on November 28th. Got settled in for the next day. We didn't know what to expect. Hans left Mississippi and forgot how to get back there. (So it seemed) He didn't know if he would be welcomed at the services for the son he raised as his own or turned away because he left his world there to find his happiness.

Our first stop was to see Aunt Nancy from the Perry side of the family. She was so sweet. We went to her pond to feed her catfish. Them suckers were big. But it was a fun sight to see.

I kept asking her if she was sure there wasn't any croc's in the pond like Lake Placid. She never seen the movie.
She will always remember Hans as the Sailor who left a nickle on the dresser. It was their little joke. So he left a nickle on her table when we left this time.

Aunt Nancy Showed us photos of all the family and told us of how Uncle Buck passed away.

This is a family photo that she showed us asking Hans if he remembered any of them. He did.

Remembering the Ladies...

The folks were so funny down south. I went to do something and then found Hans again and grabbed his hand to hold and everyone was like WOW!!! (mostly the guys) How is it you get her to do that? We just like holding hands. We're funny like that we told them.

His niece remembered him. She couldn't wait to say hello.

Both will miss him with all their heart and soul.

Dale and his father sharing in their grief. May their relationship grow out of this sad experience. May the Lord guide them and take the thoughts of negativity out of their lives for one another. They are both good men.

Day with the Olsens'

Ok...Here is breakfast out with the Olsens'. You have to know how to do this trick if you want breakfast. Just kidding. How cool are these folks? The coolest!!!

We ate at the Waffle Barn. YUM.

So that means Christie and I got to go to the Scrapbooking place while waiting for our names to be called. That place is dangerous for me to go to.

After that we headed up to Old Auburn and checked out the town and it's antiques and the old buildings. The OZ Jewelry Store and a few other places. There we played with the Tin Man. I have photos!!!
