Gallery, Lumpia and Quiz~

Today was pretty good for not wanting to get up this morning. Worked the gallery, then went shopping. Felt lost without Hans shopping with me. Got the stuff for the pot luck tomorrow and came home and rolled, rolled, rolled...LUMPIA!!! (Vicki's way)~4 packs of skins done. Got to get more wraps, I have more stuffing than I planned on.

Just took my quiz and I got 100%. I like getting my score right away.  I also got a note from the teacher on my first report "Excellent job on the 3 C's paper".  Now for my grade on Intentional Torts. The waiting game.

Shedding~

All day yesterday my hands had been peeling like a snake shedding his skin. I wonder, are my finger prints going to be the same on the under skin? It is pretty tough layers that are coming off. This was from t he chemo burn that I sustained on March 8th. It is very odd.

Ok...homework that's due is done and sent in. Now that I have fickle'd my son on his spelling, I will spend some time with the hubby before he has to turn in for the night. Oh and I have a group meeting tonight. Oh fun.

3 C's~

Taking a break from my studies. I have to write a paper on the 3 C's, Coustesy, Compassion and Common Sense.

I am finding out that sleep is my friend. My hands are getting pinker rather that red now and they are feeling less like plastic. Can't wait to be over this. I even ate a little more of a breakfast than I have been. Yay~

Remember the good times with relatives that welcomed you into their homes when you were a child to spend the weekends or summers with them. Rest in Heaven Uncle Narding.

Out of Danger~

Jack in the Box opened last Monday here in Avon. Today they had a packed parking lot and also had Sheriff's Department to keep the peace in the drive through and the parking lot. Just seemed kind of funny to see.

Well, the doctor says I am out of danger and the worst is over. My hands will still peel and I am still healing, but the danger of the bad chemo is subsiding. Amen to that.

First Meal in a while~

Today was great because I was able to eat almost a whole meal at IHOP. The broccoli went down without hurting my throat and the potatoes I could taste them. It was a delayed birthday meal. Then I came home and did a lot of my reading for school. I will be doing online for the next 5 weeks. What a great day.
