Memory Quilt

This is one of the many projects I have been working on since I have been laid up preparing for my surgery. It is a Memory Quilt in honor of my Uncle Mike. He was a wonderful person to everyone. Took better care of everyone other than himself. Most of the quilt is made up from his clothes that he wore towards the end. Pants and shirts mostly. I used some buttons in the quilt as well.

Life is too Short

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right…
Forget about the one's who don't.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Just about everyone seems to think that life should be easy.
God promises He can make it worth the effort.

And then there is this excerpt from an email I received:

Friends are like balloons; once you let them go, you might not get them back.
Sometimes we get so busy with our own lives and problems
that we may not even notice that we've let them fly away.
Sometimes we are so caught up in who's right and who's wrong
that we forget what's right and wrong.
