Mom Celebrating 70
Today I got a distressing call from my step-dad. Five years ago this was a common event that happened at least a couple times a month. Well, it happend again while the folks were away on vacation...Mom ran away (or should I say walked away). She had no clue where she had been all day. She was found 26 miles away from the time share in Palm Desert. She made the news in Palm Springs and Palm Desert on Channel 3. Her husband said everyone at the time share were pulling together in the search as this is a regular place for them to visit.
Thank you all!
My husband was on his way home to head out for the Desert but I caught him soon enough to let him know she had been found.
We need to GPS or LowJack this lady.
For those who do not know, it will be 10 years next month since my mother's short term memory became a problem. She had a triple anuerysm that would have killed the normal person...Now she has Dementia. Mom seems to have some kind of a survival skill that we all should look into and bottle it!
