Pre-Indy Super Bowl Extravaganza~

I actually climbed the Monument at the Circle.
Went downtown for the Cancer Event.  It was amazing to see Patti LaBelle.  I actually climbed the Monument at the Circle.  But we couldn't get all the way to the top.  Something was stopping the process.  Someone got sick up there so everyone that was waiting at the top elevator had to go back down.  We were almost there and we climbed it.  That's 32 flights of stairs at an average of 10 steps each.  This gal won't let the chemo stop me.

We walked around and seen many things we normally wouldn't in walking around down town.  It was a nice time.  We then waited to see Patti LaBelle at the Verizon Stage.  After a while it started getting crowded.  We were leaning on a couple of posts you couldn't tell because it was about butt high.  So people kept asking Hans to move so they can get by.  Poking him and yelling at him to move.  Each time he had to tell them he couldn't and told them even he moved they wouldn't be able to get by.  So this one guy just wouldn't let up on him and after Hans told him 3 times he couldn't move I stepped in.  I told the guy "I don't care what you got to do, but you are going that way or back the way you came.  He told you 3 times he has a pole up his butt and can't move for you!"  The guy was a bit drunk I think, but he stopped for a moment and apologized and the waited for me to tell him it was ok to go. I was laughing about that all night.  If he would have gave us more lip, the wig was gonna come off.
Shot from one of the levels of the Monument.
There are the cars all lined up at the bottom there.

After the concert, with the special bus schedule, we missed the bus so we needed to take the taxi home.  We saved a bunch of money on parking.  It was a great time in Indy.
