Rough Morning~
Cancer Sucks! Rough morning. I had insomnia last night. That sucks in itself. Finally got to sleep about 7:30 am. 3 hours: Is that enough? I guess it will have to be. Then the Neurapathy started in my feet. I haven't had that yet. It has always been in my right arm. They want to cramp up and you try your best not to let them lock up on you. Cancer Sucks. So if you want to avoid this, take steps to improve your life now to avoid the chemo and side effects of the process. Love to all.

Pre-Indy Super Bowl Extravaganza~
I actually climbed the Monument at the Circle.
Went downtown for the Cancer Event. It was amazing to see Patti LaBelle. I actually climbed the Monument at the
Circle. But we couldn't get all the way
to the top. Something was stopping the
process. Someone got sick up there so
everyone that was waiting at the top elevator had to go back down. We were almost there and we climbed it. That's 32 flights of stairs at an average of
10 steps each. This gal won't let the
chemo stop me.

Shot of the steps going up.
Shot from one of the levels of the Monument. There are the cars all lined up at the bottom there.
Zip Line fun~Sold out this day.

Date with the hubby~
Today was a good day. Went to Greenwood to just walk around
the mall again. I need to get my walking in for sure. We were there early.
Wanted to see how much the Colt's wigs were on sale. Good price, but didn't
really need to buy something I'd only use seldom right now. I also found the
REAL LCR game. The original one. Yippee. Game on!
So then we went to see what
was playing and the $1.75 movie theater. Decided to see MONEYBALL. I really
liked the movie. Left me thinking outside the box once again. I love to do
that. Now home with some good movies and a loving husband and son.

Fatigue Sets In~
Today I had a bit of fatigue and nausea. It took me an hour and a half to eat cottage
cheese, yogurt and tapioca. I have to
eat a banana a day as well, so I blended it later with Ensure Butter Pecan. It tasted great. I slept a lot today off and on. Later I was able to eat a cup full of chili
that my husband made the other day. It
was good. Good nap after. I was able to eat a little more later to keep
me from being hungry over night.
Time to sit back and watch The Big Bang Theory.

Lumpia and Artist Gallery~
Today was a good day too.
Was able to eat fine. Started at
noon to make some Lumpia. Yum. I made it with Shrimp this time instead of
turkey meat. It also had bean sprouts
and alfalfa sprouts and peas. I also did
a couple of cream cheese wraps. It was
good. I felt great doing it too. I went through 4 packs of skins. Hans was smoking meats for future dinners as
well. Have to do it when the weather is
good. Otherwise, the wind will blow out the
fire. It was raining, but the wind was
fine. Back porch grilling is great.
Later, I still felt good.
So I went to the Artist Gallery Meeting.
It was a great meeting. I will
have a piece in the Town Hall for a showing.
Can't wait!

Cancer Support Group~
All went well with eating.
No pains or much nausea. On it
with the Zantac.
Went to a Cancer Support Group. It was very helpful and informative. Too bad Hans has to get his sleep during this
time. I think it would have helped him
too being the caregiver. But at least I
am able say what I need to without him helping me out. He is just very passionate about my care. So lucky to have that support.

Chemo went well.
There were no hiccups. All went
well. I came home and made stuffed Chilies. They were pretty good. Then after we ate, I took a much needed nap. When I seen it was 7 o'clock, I thought it was morning. But it was still PM. It was a good good day. We prepped with Zantac the night before and
just before the Chemo took another one.
I took a nap while waiting for the chemo to be done. I already had my I.V. in. They were gentle with me. The nurses are all great. Basically my numbers are all good. But my potassium is just a bit low. I need to eat a banana a day to try and get
it to normal. Other than that it is all
good.
Before going to sleep, I received a wonderfully thoughtful gift from Roxanne Adams, a classmate from Venice High. Thank you so much. I will love the sachet for sure. Hans may be able to use it too for his headaches and stress. He is stressing from everything going on. Keep him in your prayers as well. There was a little snowman bell with my name on it as well. Thank you for thinking of me.
