The Pantry~

Went to the Pantry and a guy, Jeff, wanted to have me make a scarf and hat for his girlfriend.  $25 is the price I set.  He wanted 2 for $30.  No Way!  We settled on 2 for $45.  So I hope he calls and it's the start of a new thing for me.

Test results & Gallery Panel~

Got the test results for the blood test taken Tuesday for my Potassium count.  It was still low, but not by much.  Dr. Bolla had me up my dose to two instead of one on the Potassium pill.  All my other numbers were good.  Kidneys and liver all good.

Rough Morning~

Cancer Sucks! Rough morning. I had insomnia last night. That sucks in itself. Finally got to sleep about 7:30 am. 3 hours: Is that enough? I guess it will have to be. Then the Neurapathy started in my feet. I haven't had that yet. It has always been in my right arm. They want to cramp up and you try your best not to let them lock up on you. Cancer Sucks. So if you want to avoid this, take steps to improve your life now to avoid the chemo and side effects of the process. Love to all.

Pre-Indy Super Bowl Extravaganza~

I actually climbed the Monument at the Circle.
Went downtown for the Cancer Event.  It was amazing to see Patti LaBelle.  I actually climbed the Monument at the Circle.  But we couldn't get all the way to the top.  Something was stopping the process.  Someone got sick up there so everyone that was waiting at the top elevator had to go back down.  We were almost there and we climbed it.  That's 32 flights of stairs at an average of 10 steps each.  This gal won't let the chemo stop me.

Me and my Hansy~
Shot of the steps going up.
We walked around and seen many things we normally wouldn't in walking around down town.  It was a nice time.  We then waited to see Patti LaBelle at the Verizon Stage.  After a while it started getting crowded.  We were leaning on a couple of posts you couldn't tell because it was about butt high.  So people kept asking Hans to move so they can get by.  Poking him and yelling at him to move.  Each time he had to tell them he couldn't and told them even he moved they wouldn't be able to get by.  So this one guy just wouldn't let up on him and after Hans told him 3 times he couldn't move I stepped in.  I told the guy "I don't care what you got to do, but you are going that way or back the way you came.  He told you 3 times he has a pole up his butt and can't move for you!"  The guy was a bit drunk I think, but he stopped for a moment and apologized and the waited for me to tell him it was ok to go. I was laughing about that all night.  If he would have gave us more lip, the wig was gonna come off.

There are the cars all lined up at the bottom there.

After the concert, with the special bus schedule, we missed the bus so we needed to take the taxi home.  We saved a bunch of money on parking.  It was a great time in Indy.

Date with the hubby~

Today was a good day. Went to Greenwood to just walk around the mall again. I need to get my walking in for sure. We were there early. Wanted to see how much the Colt's wigs were on sale. Good price, but didn't really need to buy something I'd only use seldom right now. I also found the REAL LCR game. The original one. Yippee. Game on!

So then we went to see what was playing and the $1.75 movie theater. Decided to see MONEYBALL. I really liked the movie. Left me thinking outside the box once again. I love to do that. Now home with some good movies and a loving husband and son.
